The Trailblazer Award was created in 1994 to recognize a woman who’s an influential community leader, "the first” in her field, or made a significant contribution toward elevating the image of women in business.

Scaling New Heights with Soprano Patricia Racette

Join us for an intimate evening featuring a conversation with internationally acclaimed soprano Patricia Racette and beautiful music from one of Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ festival season artists, hosted by St. Louis Forum member Susan Weissman at her Clayton home. Enjoy appetizers, wine, and soft drinks with Forum members as you hear more about Patricia’s career path.
Patricia Racette is known globally for her talent as an opera singer, and she’s now enjoying new heights of success as a stage director and the Artistic Director of Young Artist Programs at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. In this new phase of her career, Pat is identifying the next generation of talent and training singers to fulfill their own potential. So many women face this same evolution in their careers, moving from rising star to sought-after mentor. What can we learn from the way Pat has thoughtfully mapped a career path that taps into her natural instincts and abilities?

The Wellness Committee is thrilled to offer the Forum's first ever overnight retreat from 1pm on October 25th to noon on the 26th. We are putting together an exceptional program to better connect us with each other and ourselves. The retreat will be held at the gorgeous 21C Museum Hotel in downtown St. Louis with beautiful rooms, meeting spaces, spa facilities, and delicious food and drinks. More information and registration is coming soon.
