Join St. Louis Forum for a festive start to the holiday season, while celebrating female artists, executives and business owners. We’ll gather at CAM, the leading destination for contemporary art in St. Louis, to learn more from Executive Director Lisa Melandri about the museum’s current exhibit. 

Enjoy vibrant paintings from Shara Hughes, thought-provoking ceramic sculptures from Kathy Butterly, a stunning photo-based work from Farah Al Qasimi, and Lorna Simpson’s video installation that challenges expectations of gender and race. Catch up with friends and meet new members over delicious food and drink from Ces & Judy’s Catering.

Youth Gun Violence: A Pediatric Health Emergency

St. Louis Children’s Hospital and SSM Cardinal Glennon, combined, see more children injured by gun violence than any city in the country.  SSM Cardinal Glennon is a part of the Hospital Violence Intervention Program (HVIP) and Life Outside of Violence (LOV) program with the goal of prevention and postvention care.  A panel of experts will help us understand the effects on our children and the region and what is being done to improve the lives of those affected and how we can protect the youth of the future.

The meeting will be a virtual presentation.
