Event Description
Join us for an exciting afternoon at World Wide Technology Raceway. We will join the St. Louis Region Sports Car Club of America Performance Experience event and hear from local St. Louis area women involved in racing. Are you interested in getting your car on the track? You may sign up directly with the SCCA to run their PDE program as a novice. (REGISTER at SCCA to drive your car.)  After our panel discussion, we can head to the Go-Kart track and race go-karts (an additional $35/race).

  • Moderator, Sheila Burkett
    St. Louis Forum President and Spry Digital CEO, Sheila Burkett, will moderate our panel. Sheila Burkett is a 20 year + member of the Sports Car Club of America, the previous owner of a race shop, and past road racing and autocross competitor. Sheila is a licensed SCCA National Administrator and Registrar who has organized and put on numerous amateur road racing events in the St. Louis area.

  • Panelist, Rachel Larson
    Design and Application Engineer, CK Power
    Chief of Tech, Chief of Grid, Co-Race Chair, SCCA
    Rachel Larson is a design and application engineer with CK Power, specializing in John Deere powered off-highway diesel equipment. From engine selection, to design and install, she works with customers to create power units and generators that fit their requirements.

    She has a passion for engines and motorsports that stem from a young age when she was introduced to cars by helping her dad maintain and upgrade their vehicles and tractors. His love of racing and exposure to the SCCA led her to take on leadership roles in the regional organization. She currently acts as the Chief of Scrutineering and Grid as well as Co-Race Chair for the St. Louis region.
