Dr. Elizabeth Keenan
Superintendent of Special School District

Special School District has been serving students across St. Louis County since 1957, currently supporting over 24,000 students and operating as the tenth largest employer in our region. Special School District Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Kennan will share the impact that this unique school district has on St. Louis and its children and their families. Dr. Keenan will also discuss her own career journey and the challenges she faces leading this large organization in the very male-dominated field of school superintendence. Come learn more about these two gems that attract people to St. Louis and support so many people and educational systems throughout our region.
