Description
Our next Forum Cares will be on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon in support of Seed St. Louis. In operation since 1984, Seed St. Louis provides support for over 250 community gardens, school gardens, and urban gardens throughout the St. Louis region. Their mission is to provide communities with the tools, education, and empowerment to grow their own food.
We will be volunteering at Dragon Garden at Hodgen Elementary (located at 1616 California Avenue, 63104) to clear a few beds and add compost to the soil in preparation for the school’s Seed to STEM classes that will begin the following week. Space is limited to 8 participants.
Forum Cares is designed to help members learn about and contribute to the work of area nonprofits while providing the opportunity to work together and connect in a small group.
