Description:
Join us for a special evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while discovering the Delmar DivINe with Jorge Riopedre, Executive Director. The Delmar DivINe, founded by Maxine Clark, is a social innovation, high-impact historic building rehabilitation (formerly St. Luke’s Hospital site) that is setting an example for community development, social improvement and collaboration in St. Louis and the nation. It is the first collaboration space dedicated to maximizing human and financial capital of St. Louis’ social initiatives, especially among health, education and human services organizations. The Delmar DivINe is a mixed use project that includes 150 affordable apartments, offices, a cafe and a nonprofit collaborative.  

The event begins at 5:00pm with mix and mingle, followed by tours of the building and Q&A  from 5:15-6:00pm, and then plenty of time for socializing from 6:00-7:00pm.

Jorge Riopedre
Executive Director, Delmar DivINe

Executive Director Jorge Riopedre is executive director of Delmar DivINe. Previously Mr. Riopedre served as president and chief executive officer of Casa de Salud, a clinic providing high-quality, low-cost clinical and mental healthcare to the uninsured, focusing on the new immigrant community. He began his career as a communications professional, eventually founding a media production company specializing in the Hispanic market that he successfully ran until becoming the executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan St. Louis in 2010, for which he also served as Chairman and President. In 2015, Mr. Riopedre was named an Eisenhower Fellow and founded the local chapter of that organization.
