Description
Forum Cares is a new initiative that brings members together to give back to and learn more about the local nonprofit community.
For the next Forum Cares, we’ll be volunteering in Home Sweet Home’s warehouse (located in Maplewood) on Friday, July 31, from 9 a.m. to noon. Warehouse volunteers buddy with Home Sweet Home’s volunteers who are trained and familiar with the warehouse. Shifts focus on processing donations in the warehouse. They have stations for sorting, cleaning, and testing all the donations that come in before they are made available for their clients to shop.
Home Sweet Home can accommodate up to 5 volunteers at a time for warehouse volunteering. Please only sign up if you’re certain that you can be there.
